Care and Handling

The Frame
The foundation of your upholstered furniture begins with the frame. Our frames are made with engineered hardwoods and state of the art materials, for years of enjoyment under normal use, wear and tear.

We recommend the following care and usage tips:
• Avoid heavy weight and excessive pressure on the arms and backs.
• When moving a piece of upholstered furniture, it must be lifted and never pushed or pulled across any surface.
• Frames are well-padded with a combination of resilient polyurethane foam and dacron which can shift or settle during packaging and transportation. This is quite common on corners and arms.
• It may be necessary to adjust or gently push the foam back to its original position.

Cushions
Polyurethane foam has memory-like cells that are very resilient and allow it to contract and expand; therefore it is likely that any packaging or transportation indentions will disappear within one to two weeks after the furniture is removed from the packaging.

• During the first months of normal use, you will notice that the high-density polyurethane foam in the seats and backs will soften. This is completely normal, much like "breaking-in" a new pair of shoes, and will stabilize after the breaking-in period.

Feather/Down
• Some products include feather/down in addition to the high-density polyurethane foam.
• Feather/Down seating and backs are designed to be natural, soft and luxurious.  They will shift and settle for normal everyday use.
• We recommend gently, "fluffing" and re-positioning the down to return the cushions to their original soft and shape.

With normal use, your leather sofa will begin to take on natural characteristics, such as slight folds and creases as the leather relaxes. This is considered normal and actually adds character and appeal to your sofa.

Leg Installation
• You will find the removable legs for your furniture either zipped into the bottom lining or in a well-marked plastic bag.
• Carefully turn and lower the furniture so that the backrests securely on the floor.
• Install legs based on enclosed instructions.
• Slight color shading of the legs is due to the natural grains of the wood, is considered normal and part of the beauty of wood.
• Lift the furniture, from the base, back into the upright position.
• Avoid excessive pressure on the back legs and do not use the legs a leverage, as this can cause the legs to break.

A number of natural characteristics that you will find on your leather cover are listed below:
Grain Variation
Wrinkles
Healed Scar
Slight Shade Variation

• If a liquid or other substance leaves a stain or watermark, we recommend contacting a professional cleaning service. Your local furniture retailer will happy to recommend a reputable person to you. Never use any cleaning solutions on your leather furniture.

This technique provides an economical cover that is durable and easy to clean.

• Never use household cleaners, solvents or alcohol-based products on your bi-cast furniture.

General Care
• Clean the surface before you finish, and buff it to keep from sealing in the dirt.

For Fabric Covering
We select the best coverings to cover our sofas, and our fabrics are supplied by the most authorized manufacturers and based on the on-going trend of fashion, so they represent the ideal balance between quality and style and are able to combine softness and practicality. If you have purchased a sofa with a fabric covering, please have a close look at the specification about maintenance.

Cleaning:
• Periodically clean the sofa with soft brush or cleaner.
• Dismantle and clean the external weaving cover of the sofa:
It is better to clean up the cover with dry-cleaning.
You shall apply the cleanser without decolourant and oxidants to avoid depigment. The cover shall be dried levelly not directly in the sunshine.
• Fixed weaving covers (no wash with dismantlement)
The remains shall be rid off soon once polluting the cover.
Remove it with a soft cloth or absorbent paper not cloth with colors. We recommend you to remove the remains without delay. In some cases when the chemical solution is needed, please do not directly apply it on the remains. The best way to do that drops some on a clean cloth and clean up at the covert of the sofa for trial, then find out whether not any depigment or crumple occurring. Such a problem shall be highlighted when you clean the colorful cloth-art or textile products.

Operation
Improper operation on the sofa, especial sofas with function, would cause damage to the product.
